The Quantum Lint Brush exists to subject ambient lint to precision quantum sweeping and certify the resulting Particle Congruence using instruments only the Bureau can see.
Every sweep generates its own Batch Number, its own Lint Composition, Quantum State, Particle Congruence, and Entanglement Index reading, and its own permanent entry in the specimen's unchanging density history.
Each sweep measures Lint Composition, Quantum State, Particle Congruence, and Entanglement Index, regardless of how precisely the brush was actually deployed, what the lint is actually made of, or whether ambient lint can be meaningfully vacuumed at all.
All readings are generated within congruence ranges the Bureau considers scientifically unimpeachable. There is no vacuum. There is no Bureau.
Every room begins at full density. Every sweep does not lower it. This is not measurement error. This is the entire measurement.
Density has never gone down during a single recorded sweep, and the Bureau does not fund research into why.
Specimens may be reswept by deploying the brush again. The Bureau will apply exactly the same rigor to the resweep as to the original sweep, which is to say, none.
